Moscow ranks #3 in the global rating of road construction volumes.

According to the information published at Moscow Mayor’s website, Moscow ranks #3 in the global rating of urban roads construction volume giving way only to Beijing and Shanghai. According to deputy mayor Mr. Marat Husnullin, 40,000 workers are engaged in the non-stop construction process in 24/7 mode.

In the past seven years, overall 700 km of roads and 200 bridges were deployed. Until 2021 Moscow city government is planning to deploy another 271 km of roads, 58 bridges and flyover bridges. Further to city government is planning to deploy 126 km of railways and 55 metro stations.
